Most organisations have a rich vein of ideas and creativity that is rarely fully exposed or utilised. At the same time, when ideas are surfaced or decisions need to be made on business critical issues, it can be difficult to gain agreement on the way forward and commitment to seeing the decisions through.
 
As people, we will naturally be inclined to support the ideas and decisions we have proposed or that best fit our personal objectives, yet these may not be the ideas and decisions that are in the best interests of the organisation.
 
Left un-addressed this disconnect will result in at best frustration and at worst failure to meet our organisational objectives.
